About the Role:
This role is part of Space & Defence, focusing on delivering satellite-based network solutions to government, defence, and institutional customers. You will be responsible for defining and executing national and regional go-to-market strategies, leading complex sales engagements, and driving long-term, profitable revenue growth across government markets.
The role is highly senior, commercial, and external-facing, requiring deep knowledge of government SATCOM environments, public procurement, and defence stakeholders. You will lead sales activities end-to-end (from lobbying and lead generation through to contract negotiation, closure, and fulfilment) while contributing to wider European government growth initiatives.

To be successful, you’ll need to have…
- Minimum 15 years’ experience selling or delivering complex satellite communications solutions
- Satellite (SATCOM) experience is essential; telecommunications experience is secondary
- Strong understanding of government, defence, and institutional customers
- Proven success selling into MILSATCOM and government COMSATCOM environments
- Demonstrated experience with public procurement, government budgets, and tender processes
- Track record of closing complex, high-value, multi-year contracts
- Experience developing and executing national go-to-market strategies
- Strong negotiation skills for complex, politically sensitive deals
- Established network within government, defence, and security stakeholders
- Experience managing or leading distributed sales or capture teams
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including internationally
Requirements / non-negotiables:
- Based in the Netherlands, Germany, or Luxembourg
- Fluent English and fluent Dutch
- Ability to hold or obtain EU / NATO security clearance
- Preferred: German and/or French language skills
