GNC Engineer / Colorado

About the Role:
This is a principal (or Senior) Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer position, focusing on the design, build, test, analysis, and in-orbit operation of GNC systems for rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking (RPOD) spacecraft. The role sits at the intersection of autonomy, robotics, and space domain awareness. It is critical for enabling advanced in-space manoeuvres and sustained orbital operations in a fast-paced engineering environment.

 To be successful, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
• Extensive (significantly more than 2+ years) industry experience in GNC, with end-to-end, real mission (not purely academic) RPOD expertise; have led successful missions through phasing and docking (ideally with NASA, SpaceX, or similar).
• Technical competence in GNC with exposure to related flight software (Python, C/C++ a plus)
• Comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments; true “builder” mentality.
