A European NewSpace operator is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer – Space and Ground to take ownership of end-to-end systems architecture across its LEO constellation. This is a technically hands-on position spanning both space segment (payload, RF, onboard systems) and ground segment (gateways, TT&C, network integration). You will operate at system level, ensuring integration, performance, and scalability across the full communication chain as the constellation evolves. The role requires a strong systems thinker capable of bridging multidisciplinary engineering teams while remaining technically embedded in architecture, requirements, and validation activities.

To be successful you’ll need to have…
- 10+ years’ experience in satellite systems or communications engineering
- Experience across both payload and ground segment infrastructure
- Background in system architecture, integration, and V&V
- LEO constellation experience preferred
