About the Role
As a Senior Telecoms Systems Engineer, you will own the end-to-end technical design, integration, and performance of communications systems across access, transport, and core networks. You will define how complex functions interact across legacy and modern platforms, including evolving non-terrestrial architectures. Operating as a pivotal technical authority, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external operators to guide specifications and verification, delivering dependable, large-scale connectivity.

To Be Successful, You’ll Need
- Proven telecoms systems engineering expertise across core and radio access network architectures, with substantial experience gained within a mobile network operator, equipment vendor, or telecommunications consultancy being essential.
- Strong technical capability to define functional specifications, signalling protocols, and service flows across 2G, 4G, 5G, and evolving 5G non-terrestrial network platforms, with direct satellite integration considered a plus.
- Demonstrated track record operating as an independent technical authority who can resolve complex integration challenges while maintaining a collaborative working relationship with multidisciplinary engineering peers.
