The Challenge: This client needed a strong independent Product Manager that could negotiate the demands of clients with the limited time and resources of their engineering teams, take ownership of product roadmaps and ensure that the strategy decided at HQ was not lost in translation to the regional offices. In this particular case, they also needed strong local language skills and local market knowledge to help them better operate in the Nordics.

Our Solution: Using our experience as a global recruiter we were able to quickly analyse the likely sources of relevant candidates within the Nordics and adjust our approach to suit the local tastes of the talent. In what can be a very challenging location to hire in we were able to identify a shortlist of 7 candidates where the client had previously struggled to see even 1 or 2 strong candidates.

The Outcome: From the shortlist of 7, 3 candidates were identified as the strongest profile and an expedited interview process resulted in an offer being extended and accepted within 4 weeks.
